We provide a comprehensive range of interior surface finishing services, from wallpapering and painting to traditional plasterwork. We specialise in breathable paints and finishing materials suitable for historic buildings, combined with traditional craftsmanship and proven restoration techniques. We favour products coloured with natural pigments to create durable finishes that respect the building’s period and original character.

Walls, Ceilings and Interior Woodwork

We primarily use traditional breathable paints such as linseed oil paint (including matte finishes) and limewash. Where appropriate, we also work with high-quality water-based emulsion paints that provide a deep, ultra-matt finish. Paint systems are always selected according to the building, substrate and conservation requirements of each project.

We are also an importer of products from Gysinge, Engwall & Claesson, Byta Ytan and Ottossons Färgmakeri.

Wallpapering

We install traditional paper wallpapers with careful consideration for the building’s architectural style and period. Our range includes high-quality heritage wallpapers, and we are an importer of products from Lim & Handtryck and Handtryckta Tapeter Långholmen.

Timber Floor Finishes

We provide sanding, brushing and finishing of timber floors. Floors are finished with hardwax oil or floor paint, depending on their intended use and the client’s preferences. Oiled floors can also be tinted to achieve the desired colour. We use premium hardwax oils from Pallmann.

Lining Paper and Wall Preparation

We install traditional lining board (lumppapp) on walls and ceilings and carry out lining paper installation on wood fibre boards using traditional methods. These techniques are particularly well suited to the restoration and renovation of historic buildings.

Plastering and Surface Preparation

We undertake all types of surface preparation and plastering, from traditional restoration plasters to clay plaster. Clay plaster provides a breathable and environmentally friendly finish and can be pigmented to create a beautiful final surface without the need for additional paint.
