Eric Leraillez
Eric is originally from Lille, France, and studied art history and graphic design in Paris. He has worked as an illustrator for Finnish newspapers and magazines, as well as designing layouts for books and brochures. His passion for architecture and heritage led him to further his expertise through restoration studies at HMAK school.
Eric’s work combines artistic expertise with strong craftsmanship. He specialises in decorative painting, murals, and various restoration projects. What inspires him most is the variety of challenges each site brings and the opportunity to contribute to preserving historically valuable buildings.
One of Eric’s favourite projects is the Mannerheim Museum, where restoring the original colours and surfaces required both precision and creativity. The decorative Art Nouveau painting of the fireplace hood at Dragsvik was also an inspiring project.
